Bizerba acquires Bizerba Tekno Label Inc. strengthening its position in the growing market for labels
| Bizerba USA Inc. announced the acquisition of all the outstanding shares of Bizerba Tekno Label Inc., a manufacturer of innovative labels and coating equipment. The 100% acquisition was completed on October 31, 2022 making Bizerba Tekno Label Inc. a full subsidiary of the Bizerba Group. With the full integration of the existing team into its global network, Bizerba strengthens synergies, accelerates growth possibilities and boosts productivity to increase customer satisfaction.
In August 2016, Bizerba acquired 51 percent of Tekno Label Inc., a Canadian label manufacturer with more than 25 years of expertise in specialized label printing. Located in Boucherville, Quebec, the company has grown since then from 5 to 45 people and concentrates on unique label and hardware solutions that are a perfect complement to the Bizerba solutions portfolio.

Following the closing of the transaction, the combined company will be led by Brian Evans, President of Bizerba Label Solutions (BLS). “This move puts an exclamation point on Bizerba’s commitment to the Label and Consumable market in North America.
