Bizerba's commitment for sustainability
As a family-owned company, we at Bizerba regard responsibility for future generations as one of our fundamental tasks. For more than 155 years we have been thinking and acting with a long-term perspective in order to pass on our values to the next generations. We are aware that global energy demand, climate change and the increasing waste of resources are major challenges for our society.
Sustainability commitment
As a responsible company, we integrate sustainability into all areas of our business and into our relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and service providers. We have already implemented an environmental and energy management system and track many sustainability aspects throughout the product lifecycle. We continuously measure and monitor our progress through comprehensive sustainability reporting.
Despite many challenges, we are working tirelessly for a sustainable future. We are proud of what we have already achieved as Bizerba in terms of sustainability. We look forward to proceeding further steps in this direction together with our CSR team and the entire workforce.
Sustainable Innovation and Supplier Strategies
In our annual Sustainability Report and accompanying brochure, we delve into the fascinating innovations that are at the heart of our product development and manufacturing. How are we driving material reduction and the use of more environmentally friendly materials? What strategies are we using to optimize the selection of our suppliers and verify their sustainability efforts? And how are innovative approaches such as remote support and RefurBiz helping to drive sustainability?
Transparency and commitment
Our commitment to sustainability is an ongoing process that we manage with great care. Each year, we publish a comprehensive Sustainability Report, which is available to the public and provides transparency on our performance. This report provides a summary of our key issues and progress, which we describe in detail in our accompanying brochure. Key topics include strategy, innovation, environment and society. In addition, we regularly publish a DNK report in accordance with the requirements of the German Sustainability Strategy (DNK) and make it available in the DNK database. We invite our stakeholders to actively engage with our report and welcome their feedback as we work together towards a sustainable future.
